Key Points

  • Legal compliance — Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to ensure that participation in prediction markets is permitted where you reside.

  • Trading risk — Prediction market trading involves financial risk. The value of outcome shares can go to zero. You should only trade with funds you can afford to lose.

  • No financial advice — Conviction does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. All trading decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.

  • Irreversible transactions — Smart contract interactions on the blockchain are irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be undone.

  • Wallet security — You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys, and recovery phrases. Conviction cannot recover lost credentials or reverse unauthorized transactions.
