Claim & Redeem

This guide explains how to collect your winnings from resolved prediction markets on Conviction.

When a Market Resolves

• A market is resolved when the real-world event outcome is officially determined.
• The winning outcome is declared (e.g., YES wins, or a specific outcome in a categorical market).
• Winning shares become redeemable for $1.00 each.
• Losing shares become worthless — their value is $0.00.

How to Claim Winnings

1. Go to your Portfolio page, or navigate directly to the resolved market page.
2. You will see your positions in resolved markets, with a status indicating the outcome.
3. Click "Redeem" on the winning position.
4. Your winning shares are burned (removed from your wallet) and USDC is credited to your Trading Wallet.
5. The payout is calculated as: Payout = Number of Winning Shares x $1.00

Example

You hold 50 YES shares in a market that resolved YES.

• Payout: 50 shares x $1.00 = $50.00 USDC
• The 50 YES shares are burned from your Trading Wallet.
• $50.00 USDC is added to your Trading Wallet balance.

Batch Redeem

If you have winning positions across multiple resolved markets, you can redeem them all at once.

• Navigate to your Portfolio page.
• Select "Redeem All" to batch-redeem all eligible winning positions.
• This saves time compared to redeeming each position individually.
• A single transaction covers all redemptions.

Cancelled Markets

In some cases, a market may be cancelled (e.g., the event did not take place, or the market was created in error).

• When a market is cancelled, all shares (both YES and NO) can be redeemed.
• Shares are redeemed at the price at the time of cancellation, not at $1.00.
• For example, if YES was trading at 60¢ when the market was cancelled, YES shares are redeemed at 60¢ each and NO shares at 40¢ each.
